GIFTS IN WILLS
Your legacy, caring for horses for years to come
After taking care of the people and things that matter most to you, you may choose to leave a gift to EWNZ. That could be a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or part of what remains.
A gift in your Will is a lasting way to help horses. It can fund veterinary care, rehabilitation and foster care, and help owners get the right advice early so fewer horses need rescuing.
The NZ Law Society confirms that a Will can include a specific charitable gift or a gift from the residue of an estate, and recommends getting legal advice when making or updating a Will.
INCLUDING EWNZ IN YOUR WILL
Making your wishes clear
If you'd like to leave a gift to EWNZ, we recommend speaking with your lawyer or estate adviser so your wishes are recorded correctly. If you'd like your gift to support a particular part of our work, please talk to us first so we can honour it.

DO YOU NEED TO TELL US?
Only if you'd like to
You don't need to tell us if you've included EWNZ in your Will. It's entirely your decision, and you're welcome to keep your gift private.
If you do choose to let us know, we'd love the opportunity to thank you and keep you connected with the work your future gift will support. You can also contact us at any time if you or your adviser need information about EWNZ. If your Will names Rodney Animal Rescue, it will still come to us.

WHAT YOUR GIFT COULD DO
Your love of horses can become part of their future
A gift in your Will could one day help us say yes to a horse who needs somewhere safe to go.
It might fund urgent veterinary treatment, help a horse in poor condition recover, or support one of our permanent fosters. Or it might simply give a horse the time they need to recover and find the right future.
Whatever its size, it's a gift you may never see, but one that could change a horse's entire life.
