There’s more than one way to help a horse
You don’t need to own a horse, have acres of land or make a huge donation to make a real difference.
EWNZ runs on people who give what they can: their time, their homes, their skills, their networks or their support.
However you choose to help, you become part of the reason we can say yes when another horse needs us.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP
Choose what fits your life
Whether you give your time, skills or money, every person who joins in means more horses get the care they need.
Volunteer
We have no paid staff, so every skill counts. Help with horses, property jobs or events, or bring professional skills like design, admin or photography. Right now we'd love to hear from people who enjoy creating social media content.
Foster
Foster carers give horses a safe place to keep recovering. Every new foster home means another horse we can help. If you have experience, space and a bit of time, we'd love to hear from you.
Fundraise
Run an event, take on a challenge or try something completely your own. The more people fundraising around New Zealand, the more horses we can help. Every dollar raised helps fund real welfare
work.
Gift in your will
Can't give time or money right now? A gift in your Will is another way to help. Whatever the size, it carries on caring for horses long into the future, and helps owners get support before a crisis.
