Duke arrived in our care alongside his mum, Delta, shortly after his unexpected arrival into the world.

His previous owners hadn't known Delta was pregnant when they took her on, and after Duke was born they realised they weren't equipped to manage a mare and young foal.

Duke has grown into a confident, curious young horse with plenty of personality — and quickly established himself as a bit of a trickster. He even learned how to open gates from a very young age!

He is a Thoroughbred cross, although his sire is unknown.

Now successfully weaned from Delta, Duke is entering the next stage of his life. In time, he'll be looking for the right home where he can continue growing up, receiving age-appropriate handling and education without being rushed.
