Armani came into our care alongside her best friend, Zeus the donkey, when the pair were transferred to us from another organisation.

The two were inseparable and quickly became much-loved members of the Equine Welfare NZ family. Armani might be small, but she certainly doesn’t lack personality. She’s sassy, confident and very good at making sure everyone knows exactly what she thinks!

When Zeus became seriously unwell with colic and required surgery, their circumstances changed. Armani quickly decided stable life wasn’t for her and was much happier returning to life with the miniature herd, where she has become the life of the party.

For now, Armani is thriving with her mini friends, while Zeus continues his recovery. We’d love to see the old best friends reunited again when the time is right.
